Willemstad­– Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry continues to support (potential) entrepreneurs by offering free webinar series. The first webinar presented on October 13th 2021 addressed the importance of quality control of product and services in a business. This webinar was presented by Mr. Stephen Huisman. 

On October 20th, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to get more information about the different relevant aspects when having a joint venture or partnership and was presented by Mr. Elvis Thodé. 

As The Chamber of commerce, we do not only focus on existing entrepreneurs but also on individuals who are interested to become an entrepreneur. This is the main reason why the webinar “Procedure how to start a business” was presented on October 26th. Thereafter, The Chamber offered the webinar “How to do business with Aruba”, on October 27th. Entrepreneurs had more information about the culture, economy, statistics, tax, and more of this Island.  

In the month of November, The Chamber started with a webinar regarding the importance of sustainability. During this webinar Ms. Tamira La Cruz , Ms. Cindy and Mr. Dimitri Irausquin, elaborated on the value of waste in our society.  

On November 8th The Chamber organized a one-on-one virtual meeting for entrepreneurs with different private and public organizations. Entrepreneurs were able to ask questions directly to these organizations and get information about for example permit, tax, administration, marketing, important and export, networking, revenue, and social security.  

For entrepreneurs who had interest in business loans the Chamber offered the opportunity for a direct conversation during the business virtual meeting “Access to Capital for Small business“. This session was held on November 10th presented by banks, loan organizations and loan advisors. 

The next session “Free Legal 1 on 1 advice” was held on 17th November. During this session entrepreneurs had the opportunity to get personal advice from, HBN Law group
,VPM, Van Eps Kunneman van Doorne and SBG Accounting. 

In order to increase interest to do business internationally, The Chamber organized a virtual meeting on November 24th, with organizations from Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago and Sint Maarten.  

Last but not least, The Chamber organized the webinar “Think outside the box” on 1st of December. This webinar illustrated that challenging times create the perfect timing to explore ideas that are creative and unusual. In total The Chamber had more than 450 participants in the 4th quarter.
